Why MasterPiece Studios?
The Vision
Coming into the game later on in life, I learned that through collaboration we grow as artists and as creatives, and that became the basis of my vision for MasterPiece Studios.
Eventually, this will be a physical multi-hyphenate creative collective of artists of all mediums, and that community is being built with every new experience, thanks to you.
The Eye
Photography is my first love when it comes to visual art. At 10, I pointed my tablet camera towards a treeline one random day at the park and years later that memory found me again when I bought my first real camera at a pawn shop at 22… and the journey began.
I shoot with intention. As a Creative Director, I push for personality and individualism & challenge myself to see things most don’t.
The Mind
I am a writer. I’m a poet. A creative. An inquisitive being with philosophical curiosity about what it means to be an artist. To be creative. How we all came to be where we are and how we all come from different places and spaces… and somehow still ended up in the same room. Same vicinity… sharing and admiring and interacting with our art.
I know how much your creative vision means and speaks to you because we speak the same language.
The Purpose: Present & Future
To put it simply? Community. Outreach. Collaboration for the expansion of our art and creative community. Right now, the foundation is being built for something greater than myself.
The goal is to open a space for creatives by creatives, all under one roof, doing what we love and making art more accessible to the people and the young artists in our communities.
Eventually, this will lead to creating a program to advocate for young artists and put them in connection with people who have been in the game and can foster mentorships through creative enhancement programs, which can eventually lead to scholarship programs for young artists with real impact and give them a head start in the industry THEIR way.
